Garden and Landscape Design

Technically speaking, Landscape Design is the art of arranging 6 elements for public spaces: landform, horizontal and vertical structures, plants, water and climate.  Garden Design is a specialised branch within landscape design and is concerned with private spaces.

Garden Design

After moving house you may want to change all or part of the existing garden to suit your own preferences and requirements.  Designing a garden from scratch can be a challenge and it's often difficult to know where to start.  A professional garden designer will work with you to create a design that is within your budget and suits your own personal needs.

They will assist with creating the garden of your dreams: a place full of vibrant colour, a peaceful haven for relaxing evenings, a safe play area for children, a place to grow your own vegetables, the creation of greater privacy.  You may wish to add features to the garden of a new build or restore the garden of an older property that has been neglected.

Whatever your needs, your designer will use their comprehensive knowledge of plants and the environment and come up with plans and schedules of work for your approval.

Landscape Design

Landscape design is generally concerned with larger projects and a landscape designer will work with you towards creating a space that is right for the building it surrounds, taking into account the use of the property or development and the needs of the people using it.  For large projects it is sometimes necessary to involve specialists such as architects, geographers, soil and civil engineers, surveyors or botanists.

Filling in the form above will instantly give you the details of Garden and Landscape Designers who cover your area.  You can make contact directly with the specialists listed and discuss your requirements in more detail.

Before placing an order with your chosen supplier you should ensure that they have the right qualifications, accreditation and experience to carry out the work you require.

TI used Martin Tate who responded swiftly and emailed a report promptly with the "hard" copy following in a couple of days. I would recommend the service
Susan, Boston, Lincolnshire
The website worked well. I chose David Gibbons, BSc (Hons),MRICS,MCIOB. The reply to my request was very swift as was the inspection and the receipt of the report. Couldn't be better. Thank you.
J Galbraith, Basingstoke, Hampshire
The website was very good at providing the search results after the user inputs his /hers requirements. A very good addition is the phone call from the possible service providers. I requested a full building survey from Osborne & Co. The survey was done to good standard. I received the survey in PDF formate upon paying the surveyor. This was a good and fast way to receive the product which also enabled me to make copies. Keep up the good work. Many thanks
Vladislav, Milton Keynes
I was very pleased with the information you sent me, I had 2 or 3 e-mails inviting me to use their services from the above companies which you recommended. Bowcliffe LLP Chartered Surveyors sent me a sample of his work. I found this to be very helpful and it was just what I was looking for. I contacted Philip Ogley who was very helpful and he actually surveyed the property within 3 days of my call. I received the full report by e-mail within 3 days. His report is very good and extremely informative.
Elaine, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
We were unclear at the time which type of survey we needed. Chose Jonathon Bevan. A survey has been done at a lot less than the original quote given and we are very happy with the outcome. Had a very prompt and professional service from this surveyor and would definitely recommend them to friends and family
