Quality of service :  We are not finished yet but the service and support has been very good. The only issue we have faced was the appointment of a solicitor firm in Yorkshire to do the actual contract work - wished we had a provider closer than West Sussex. For most people this would not be an issue but for us it would have been helpful to be able to visit the solicitors office to complete some documentation needs. Overall though, satisfied up to now. We also instructed them to complete a Homebuyer Survey on the property - they were very clear about this service too and the RICS Homebuyer Survey was completed quickly and the price was reasonable.

Quality of service :  The conveyancing quote was good and thorough, but sadly there was a little confusion. Apparently SAM conveyancing is an umbrella title for individual conveyancers, or something similar. Anyway, it resulted in when we contacted our lender, they informed us that SAM conveyancing were not on their approved lists, and so wouldn't allow us to use them. When I explained this to Oberon, he said that this was a mistake, and that all their individual conveyancers are on their list. "If you gave SAM Conveyancing as the check, it wouldn't have gone through, but with your dedicated solicitor details there would have not be a problem." As this sadly wasn't made clear to us before we went to the lender, we ended up choosing another conveyancer before this became clear, even though SAM conveyancing were very competitive.
