Supplier Feedback: 100% Recommended, I couldn't have had a better experience I couldn't recommend Morguard enough based on our level 3 / building survey. We had an offer accepted on a 1930-terraced in need of substantial repairs. We've been assisted by Guy A. and he's been amazing in helping us navigate a complex situation. We expected a list of red flags to show up, but the final report not only uncovered more -and more concerning- areas to address, but it also helped us clarify what realistically we could have expected from instructing other experts, eg a structural engineer, for specialist assessments. The report itself ended up being about 50 pages of a very precise, clear and to-the-point description of the state of this property, with multiple pictures to illustrate the point. Compared to some sample works received from other vendors, I have received a zero-fluff report and, to my delight, I could clearly notice how every single line was specifically related to the property I asked to investigate. I also loved the 'red flag' repairs' indicative cost summary, this would have been a great resource to re-negotiate the accepted offer with the sellers. All in all - I'm SO glad I found Morguard, this has probably saved me thousands of £ and some quite serious regrets. Although I paid to survey a property that I later decided not to purchase, I couldn't feel more at peace with my decision and that's exactly what I was looking for. Rosanna and Guy answered every single question I had with quick turnarounds, fully delivered what I was expecting, and provided top-class service at an incredibly fair price point. If you're looking for a surveyor, don't waste your time enquiring with different providers and just call them! :)

The surveyor called before the visit and had already thoroughly researched the property so we could have an informed discussion about things to check. Supplier Feedback: Really good communication and value for money Really good communication, very reasonable pricing and a detailed and thoughtful report. For a run down 1960s build, the survey has been really helpful in planning further investigation, and what work is essential or can wait a while. I had a phone call the day before the survey and one the day after and the surveyor even offered renovation suggestions (clearly caveating that they were not a professional architect or interior designer!). I then had a follow up query over email and got a helpful and timely response. I still haven't completed on the property because it's in probate, but I feel confident that even down the line once I am nearer completion, if I have another question I will still get a helpful response. Morguard stand out especially in comparison to Selectsurv, who charge £200 more for just a homebuyers survey (level 1) on a 2 bed flat than Morguard did for a buildings survey (level 2) on a 3 bed house. They also stand out in comparison to my buyers' surveyor, who broke my back door (soon to be their clients' back door) and tried to blame my lodger of 3 years. I would heartily recommend Morguard!
