Milner Ecology Ltd was established in April 2007 as an independent ecological consultancy with the aim of providing expert advice to the public and private sectors throughout the UK.

The company was established to meet an increasing need for a targeted and pragmatic approach to the diversity of ecological issues encountered during development projects. The company is committed to maintaining professional standards and is registered with The Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and the Society for the Environment (SocEnv) which provide a professional code of conduct. As part of these codes of conduct Milner Ecology Ltd holds £1 million Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
