Promptness of response : He came to Warfield Park the day after I spoke to him with our request for 5 EPC's.
Quality of service : Despite attending to the site promptly in September, we are still to receive EPC's!! We paid the money into his account in September. I have chased him on numerous occasions by email and received emails from Michael Townsend promising I would receive the certificates by the end of the week, and still nothing. My MD has now instructed me to contact the Small Claims Court.
Value for money : Paid out over £700 and no EPC's received. Over 3 months since Michael Townsend visited Warfield Park.
Professionalism : No EPC's received to date 18th December 2019.

Promptness of response : Received a quote same day as enquiry and it was the best quote.
Quality of service : Received quote on 23/7 confirming certificate would be delivered within 48 hours of survey. Appointed Michael on 24/7, survey took place on 29/7, invoice received on 30/7. The very next day Michael chased payment of his invoice, which was paid the same day. On 1/8 we chased the certificate. Michael replied 4 days later on 5/8 and confirmed the Certificate would arrive later that week. So much for the 48 hour promise! We chased the Certificate again on 12/8, as it had still not arrived. On 22/8 we had to confirm the survey address for the certificate, which was provided by email from the outset. We finally received the Certificate on 23/8, one month after instruction. So basically Michael provided a quote to do a job in a certain time. He was paid within 24 hours of invoicing and we had to constantly chase for the job to be completed, 3 weeks late!
Value for money : The job was not completed as promised and we had to put in the effort to constantly chase the certificate. Having to chase people to do their job, which they have been paid for, is an administrative cost to our business.
Professionalism : Made promises he could not keep. Had to be chased several times to complete the job having been paid within 24 hours of invoicing. Did not know the correct address to put on the Certificate 3 weeks after doing the survey.

Commercial EPC, Derby, John - August 2019Promptness of response : Whilst Mr Townsend responded promptly to our enquiry and carried out the survey quickly, the report was delayed and he was uncommunicative.
Professionalism : Mr Townsend was highly professional during the survey, but failed to deliver the report within his stated time frame, despite having already been paid. We had to chase him on several occasions and had problems on some of these occasions getting a response from him.

Having entered the details into your website we were contacted literally within minutes by two suppliers offering to do the work. Can't fault the website very easy to use and the efficiency was quite outstanding. We followed up with Michael Townsend of Orliam Energy Limited. Mr Townsend responded very quickly to the enquiry via the website. He was reasonably priced and was prompt with his subsequent appointment. The EPC arrived as he had promised on time, altogether he dealt with the EPC professionally and promptly and would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.
