The owner of the business visited my home and took the measurements he needed. He was well presented and amiable. He prepared the necessary drawings and submitted them to me for my approval. He made a few minor changes, the layout of my property being somewhat unusal. He submitted the plans to the council for planning approval. The planning application being of a technical nature was approved within 8 weeks and he rang me up as soon as the approval was through. I had approval to install a Heat Pump close to the boundary with the usual environmental noise conditions.
