Supplier Feedback: Last Wednesday, Martin conducted a Level 3 survey on a house I was considering purchasing. Shortly after completing the survey, which revealed several serious issues, he emailed me to suggest a follow-up call for a more detailed discussion. During our conversation, he clarified the problems and assured me that he would send the report by last Friday at lunchtime, advising me to review it over the bank holiday. Despite the house being just under 50 years old, it was in surprisingly poor condition with potential structural problems. The report was thorough, featuring numerous photos with annotations to aid my understanding of the issues. I shared the report with a friend who is a chartered civil engineer; he was impressed by how well-written and detailed it was, noting it provided all the necessary details to help me make an informed decision. After reviewing the report, Martin arranged a Zoom call to discuss the findings and answer my questions. Given the complexity of the issues, our discussion lasted 2.5 hours. Martin was highly professional, advising me on additional surveys to further assess the issues, potential costs, and their future impact on the property's value. He also assisted in finding the appropriate surveyor and structural engineer for further investigations. He promised to help me interpret any subsequent surveys. Martin is undoubtedly a top-notch surveyor whose guidance makes me feel secure. Should I consider buying another property in the future, I will definitely seek out his services again.

Initially, Martin carried out a reinstatement valuation for part of the estate. We were impressed by his approach and good communication, so we instructed Martin to carry out a full survey of the estate, to report on condition, identify maintenance issues and a clear maintenance plan for the short, medium and long term. Martin's guidance and excellent communication has resulted in a clear roadmap moving forwards. Supplier Feedback: Martin provided an extremely comprehensive and understandable L3 home buyers report. The report came with very clear red/amber/green colour coding to help prioritise any issues, implications of those issues, and approx. costs to address the issues (I believe the cost quotes are an additional feature of L3 not L2 reports). The report included photographs of all elements mentioned and explained all jargon. Turnaround time was really quick as well - Martin completed the survey on a Monday and we received the report by Tuesday evening of the same week. Following receipt of the report, Martin offered a phone call later that week to go through the report in detail and answer any questions we had. Martin was very communicative, responding to emails usually within a few hours. Overall, we found the service of excellent value, and as first-time buyers, Martin's report gave us reassurance on a number of issues. Thank you, Martin, for all your help!
