Promptness of response :  The surveyor responded quickly to my calls and e mails
Quality of service :  Most of the report was satisfactory ,but it contained a glaring error, which looked like it had been copied and pasted from another report, which bore no relation to the property I had paid to have surveyed. The report said that the windows in the property were predominantly made of wood and that they suffered no defects. In reality, all the windows are upvc framed double glazed !
Value for money :  I was not happy with the report , so I can only conclude that it was poor value for money.and that part of the fee should have been refunded, as it caused me a great deal of upset
Professionalism :  When i pointed out the error in the report ,it was passed off as a typo. I was not happy paying all that money for such an inaccurate report.

Several contacts were provided and I contacted the nearest: G.J.Sweeney Associates. I rang them and was able to arrange a survey the same afternoon. Mr Sweeney carried out the survey and emailed me his report the following afternoon. My house insurance was due for renewal and direct line wanted a structural engineers report advising them that cracks in several places were caused by differential expansion of the reconstituted stone and the mortar were only superficial and did not effect their ability to renew my insurance. I emailed direct line a copy, discussed it with one of their staff who immediately renewed my insurance.
