Chris began his career working as part of the design team for one of the North East’s most pioneering and innovative architectural companies, Ryder Architecture Limited. While here, he was responsible for the production, development and submission of technical drawing packages and administrative documents from tender stage, all the way through the project life-cycle to completion. I have worked in both the healthcare and educational sector, with 'Building Schools for the Future' (BSF). I managed construction frameworks, a large student accommodation project and healthcare projects worth over £12 million.

Since moving to London, Chris secured a role in a highly ambitious and emerging company where he gained invaluable knowledge due to extensive exposure across all RIBA stages of the project life cycle on various developments ranging from loft conversions, single storey extensions to new build residential properties.

Having experienced the challenges that come with design and construction first hand, Chris founded Empire Architecture to offer an inclusive, hassle free service.
