Quality of service : Lorenc explained the requirements to comply with the EICR well, including making good suggestions on how the practicality of the electrical setup might be improved, and returned to complete the work in good time.
Value for money : Prices for the EICR were as advertised with no hidden charges, at a very competitive price, and no retest fee after they completed the required improvements. The quote for the work was also reasonable and competitive.

Electric Vehicle Charging Point, Sutton Scotney, Winchester, Sue - July 2021Promptness of response : I had a reply after about 5 minutes of submitting my requirements on this website on a Saturday morning and was offered an appointment first thing on the next working day. This was later changed to the day following. Later emails were not answered promptly. 4 days after the EICR was done I had to ask for the invoice in order to get the report. The invoice was sent soon after sending the email on the Sunday evening.
Quality of service : The EICR was done within an hour, which was very quick as they would normally take between three and four hours for a three bedroom bungalow.
Value for money : The estimate on the website was £120 including VAT. I emailed to clarify this before booking and my question was not answered. I was charged £144 (£120 plus VAT) for the initial test. I was quoted £144 plus VAT to do the remedial work from the EICR and to install an electric oven. I said that I had already done three of the jobs (put a longer pull string on the shower isolator, fill in a hole around a cable and fix loose wires to the garage wall) so didn't need these to be done. I was charged £144 plus VAT nonetheless for the labour. The job took less than one hour - change an RCD and install the oven. I would think it could have been done in 20 to 30 minutes - undo three wires and do up three more x 2. I was charged £73.50 plus VAT (Total of £88.20) for the RCD, which is available on Amazon for less than £30. This brought the total to £261 for the second job. Lorenc was keen to take the old RCD away with him.
Professionalism : Lorenc arrived approximately 50 minutes late for both appointments. The first appointment was his first appointment of the day. He was very chatty, no doubt the reason for his lateness to the second appointment. The second appointment was changed and made later by three to four hours without asking me if that was OK first. This was changed to later when I said I had made other arrangements for the late afternoon.
